We deliver an authentic selection of fun and yummy Korean snacks, ramens and drinks next to your door on a monthly subscription basis. By subscribing Seoul, you will receive a bunch of assorted treats each month. You will also get Korean goodies, Tasting Guide and Mystery Gift(s) which will make your experience very special. As you can see from our logo, we've take every care to ensure your unboxing experience being unique and unforgettable - from receiving the box to discovering and enjoying little Korea inside the box.
Every Seoul Box will be a surprise! Depending on which subscription plan you decide on, you will receive 10 to 23 full-sized Korean snacks and goodies that would otherwise be barely available outside Korea! They will change monthly so you get the best new exclusive and seasonal snacks in Korea. We thoroughly and carefully create a perfect balance between ramens, candies, jellies, drinks, sweets and savouries to develop you well-rounded experience while unboxing and enjoying our boxes. You won’t feel tired of munching on your snack pack from Korea every month!
There are mainly 3 things we are proud to answer! Firstly, other Korean subscriptions use mostly mass produced snacks and goodies that can be easily found in Asian supermarkets outside Korea. Seoul, however, carefully handpick snacks that are either rare or genuine in Korea. We also source from local snack makers in Korea, curating high quality gourmet treats. Secondly, we provide you with the full yummy set. Ranging from ramen(s), Hot Chicken Ramen(s), drink(s), confectionaries, sweet and savoury snacks, your experience will be really broad and well rounded, unlike other subscription boxes. Finally, we complete your journey with our Tasting Guide and K Goodies. You’ll get to know fun and quirky (and sometimes classic!) ways to enjoy your brand new treats from Korea. K Goodies can be something very cute or cool, related to Korean culture ranging from traditions to K pop to K drama to Korea itself.
Thank you for being interested in one of our past boxes! Unfortunately due to limited inventory, we are currently unable to sell past boxes. However, if we have some Classic boxes left from the previous month, you can find a limited supply on our Past Boxes page. We also plan to bring back popular items in future boxes so if you subscribe to Toyo now and contribute your opinions to Seoul community, you will be able to see the come back of your favourite treats.
Diversity and inclusion is our company philosophy. We do run vegan friendly options. You can find more here. For general Seoul Boxes, we are unable to definitively say whether a snack is vegan friendly. However, the majority of the snacks we include are vegetarian friendly. Some snacks do contain small amounts of meat or seafood (i.e., shrimp rice crackers), so we do include a list of common allergens for each snack item to help you decide which is safe for you to consume. The ingredients we list are translated from the product packaging. We include in this list the eight common allergens determined by the FDA: Milk, Eggs, Fish, Crustacean shellfish, Tree nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, Soybeans. For your benefit, we also list any meat products or alcohol as listed on the printed ingredients list provided by the manufacturer for each snack. You can find this information for each snack here. Shipping is free worldwide for all Seoul orders! The declared value of each item in a shipment is within the duty free allowance for most countries. However, it is up to you to confirm your country's import regulations as we are not responsible for any custom fees that may incur to receive your shipment.
We ship your box immediately (within 3 business days) after the order is placed. We estimate the boxes to arrive within 1-4 weeks after the ship date depending on your location. If you have a prepaid multi-month subscription, your second month’s box forward will be sent out with our first batch of shipments. You will receive a confirmation email when your box ships from Korea. If you haven't received your box by the expected arrival time, we suggest you to wait until 6 weeks before submitting any inquiries.
We ship everywhere worldwide. No matter where you are, we’ll be able to ship it!
11:59pm GMT of the last day of the current month is the last date to order the upcoming month's box. Your box ships out within 1 week of your order. However, in certain months, we may sell out early. In those cases, the product description will state that orders will be for the next month's box, which will qualify for Early Shipping!
We've upgraded our shipping logistics to ship out boxes on a rolling basis throughout the month in order to shorten the time between you placing your order to you receiving your box. However, because our boxes ship directly from Korea and international shipping can be unpredictable, we cannot guarantee that your box will arrive by a certain date. Shipments normally takes 2-4 weeks to arrive from ship date, but can take up to 6 weeks depending on local customs or weather delays. Please feel free to contact us at unbox@seoulbox.co.uk if your box hasn't arrived by 6 weeks from ship date, and we will do our best to help.
Sometimes cravings are urgent! You can get Seoul Box within 1-4 days (may differ by shipping region) through selecting an express delivery option on the checkout page.
In order to be able to offer free global shipping while not increasing the price of our boxes or lowering the quality/quantity of our curated items, we do not include tracking for our Seoul Box shipments. We have found that nearly all boxes are delivered in a timely manner without tracking. Thanks to this shipment method, we are able to include more premium treats and precious goodies that can only be found from Korea in your box.
In the case an item comes damaged or is missing, please let us know at contact.us@toyotrading.co.uk and we’d be happy to resolve your request. We request a photo of the damaged item with your submission to expedite a resolution. Validity of a damaged item will be at the discretion of the support agent. Any damages to the boxes or the packaging of a product will not qualify for replacement if the content is undamaged. Due to inventory changes, any issues must be reported within 7 days of receiving your box. Replacement items will be shipped out in the next shipment once confirmed by the support agent. If we do not have the missing item in stock, credit will be applied to your account instead.
This, unfortunately, can happen when an address is incomplete or has been erroneously input on the buyer’s side. If the box has been sent back to us due to a mailing mistake on the customer’s end, we will ask you to pay for the reshipping cost. We also cannot reship a box if we do not receive it back. However, if the mistake has occurred on our end we will accommodate to ensure you receive a new or re-shipped box without any further costs.
After you place your initial subscription order, you will be billed immediately for your first box shipment or first batch of prepaid months (if you ordered a multi-month subscription). Your next renewal date will be on the same day of the month 1, 3, 6, or 12 months later depending on which plan you chose. For example, if you order Seoul Deluxe Subscription (Billed Every 1 Month) on 5th December, your initial box is January Seoul Box and will ship out within 1 week, and you will be billed again on 5th January for your February Seoul Box shipment. If you order on 1st January, your initial box is February Seoul Box, so you won't be billed again until 1st February for your March Seoul Box shipment. If you order Seoul Deluxe Subscription (Billed Every 3 Months) on 5th December, your initial box is January Seoul Box, and your next prepaid order will be submitted on 5th January. Since you chose to be billed every 3 months, you will next be billed on 5th March as you already prepaid for the 5th December, 5th January and 5th February renewals. If you order on 1st January, your initial box will be February Seoul Box, so you won't be billed again until 1st April for your next 3 prepaid months of boxes.
Because the snacks, ramens and drinks we curate are perishable and sometimes have short shelf lives, all items purchased through thetoyobox.com are final and non-refundable. However, customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, so if you encounter any issues with damaged items in your box, please do not hesitate to contact us at unbox@seoulbox.co.uk for assistance.
We currently accept payments through Paypal and all major credit cards. All payments are taken through our secure checkout and we will never share any of your details with third-parties. Prepaid gift cards and prepaid debit cards also can be processed, however there can be troubles with them going through approval from time to time due to expirations and insufficient balances. Because of this we cannot guarantee that a prepaid cash or gift card, even with a visa attached will always be approved. Please be sure to check your prepaid balance before enrolling if this payment option is best for you.
Immediately after your first order you will receive your initial charge. future payments will be charged on that same day every month (or once every 3, 6, 12 months depending on your plan). For example, if you were to order and initialize your subscription on 1st January, you would subsequently be charged on the 1st of every following month, going forward. If you forget when you placed your order, just send us an enquiry regarding your subscription date via unbox@seoulbox.co.uk.
We offer multi currency displays on our products, but all orders are billed in USD. If you are using a foreign credit card, the price reflected in your billing statement will be affected by the exchange rate at the time of purchase.
Monthly subscribers can easily skip a shipment at any time. To skip a shipment, you can edit at your subscription member page.
Sorry to see you go! We’ve made cancelling hassle-free so that you can try our subscription service without any stress. If you would like to cancel, you can do so through hitting 'cancel' option at the customer portal. You will be sent any remaining boxes per your most recent renewal but will not be charged again moving forward. You will receive a confirmation of the cancellation via email shortly after completing the cancellation process. Please be sure to cancel your subscription before your billing date to avoid renewing your subscription for the next cycle.
